The Official Gazette of the Syrian Republic. Issued weekly in Arabic (Damascus: Government Printing Press). 1919-1931 Issued under the title of Al ʻAsima. 1932: titled the Official Publication (Organ) of the State of Syria. 1933-: In its present format and title. Since 1949 the Gazette has been organized into three parts: Parliamentary Debates and Proceedings; Laws and Statutes; Bulletins and Offical Announcements. The weekly issue has a table of contents, which is sometimes bound in its original position, sometimes put at the end of each yearly volume, and unfortunately sometimes omitted entirely. There is no index to the Gazette. |
