ملاحظات Text undated, but included notecards indicate either 13th or 14th century. The text of the Maqamat includes short treatises on the Arabic letters sīn and shīn. Text is vocalized. Fairly simple, leather bound codex with text in brown, black and red inks. Numerous seals and notes preceding and following the main treatises. Each maqamah includes a commentary by Hariri, himself.
Biyografik/Tarihsel Bilgi The author was born in 1054 (d. 1122) in Basra, where he spent most of his life, and served as the chief of intelligence.
