Catchwords every verso, lower left., Title from title page and introduction (f. 4r)., Manuscript codex., Formerly owned by George A. Plimpton (bookplate inside front cover).
نص عينة Copy of a treatise on talismans and astrology said to be by Aristotle who wrote it for Alexander the Great, then said to have been translated into Arabic at the request of the Caliph al-Muʻtaṣim. 23 ink illustrations of various creatures drawn on slightly darker paper pasted onto the substrate.
