Fine collection (majmūʻah) of several concise didactic treatises of theology and grammar, mainly in verse, namely Umm al-barāhīn of Abū ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-Sanūsī (d.1490), Jawharat al-tawḥīd of Ibrāhīm ibn Ibrāhīm al-Laqānī (d.1631 or 2), Badʼ al-amālī (or Qaṣīdat yaqūlu al-ʻabd fī Badʼ al-amālī) of ʻAlī ibn ʻUthmān al-Ūshī (12th cent.), and the Alfīyah of Ibn Mālik (d.1274).
