According to colophon volume 2 completed 16 Ramaḍān 1180 by Muḥammad ibn Qāsim al-Qīrrī? (v. 2, fol. 176a).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه نستعين. الحمد لله الملك الجبار الرحيم الستار العظيم ... اما بعد فقد قال الشيخ العارف ابو اسحاق ابن مفرج الصوري رحما لله تعالي اما بعد فقد وقفت علي ساير وفصص الانبيا وسير الملوك ...Colophon (vol. 1): تم النصف الاول من سيرة اسکندر ذي القرنين ابن داراب الرومي والله الموفق للصواب واليه المرجع والمآب - Volume 1: Later half-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and brown spotted paper. Volume 2: Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in dark brown leather. Color-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind tooled edging on cover. Similar decoration on flap. Block pressed design on blue paper pastedowns. Volume is larger than volume 1. - A biography of Alexander the Great and a history of his conquests, with many legends about him.
