Inscription "D F, B 5" repeated on fol. 1a and 155b.Collation: Paper ; fol. 155 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 19 lines per page.Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ; MS in good condition.Origin: Probably from the XVIth century.Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ويه ثقتى الحمد لله رب العالمين ... فهذه جواش على الشرح المشهور لتلخيص المفتاح كنت قد قيدتها عليه ...Colophon: والحمد لله اولا و اخرا وصلى الله على محمج واله الطاهرين وسلم تسليما كثر كثيرا تم. تم الكتاب بعون الله الوهاب م م م م م - Later type III (without flap) binding. Brown leather upper cover covered with paper with cutout showing red leather blind-stamped mandorla. Spine half red leather and half dark brown leather. Lower cover red leather with small blind-stamped mandorla and decorative blind-tooled edging. - A gloss on al-Muṭawwal of Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftāzānī, which is a commentary on Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, which in turn is an abridgment of Miftāḥ al-ʻUlūm, the famous treatise on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī.
