Inserts.Collation: Paper ; fol. vii + 254 ; catchwords ; folation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 27 lines per page.Description: Written in medium small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Glazed European paper.Incipit: والحمد لله الذي ميز عصابة ... وبعد فلما كان بيان مذهب اهل السنة والجماعة من اهم الامورExplicit: وقد وقع الفراغ من جمعه وتدوينه ... سنة اربع وسبعين والف من الهجرة النبوية عليه افضل التحية الحمد لله ثم الحمد لله - Type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and brown, olive and red glazed marbled paper over pasteboard. Pastedowns in yellow/light olive paper. Label on upper cover: "50". - A treatise on principles of Islamic faith, completed, according to the text, on a Friday in the month of Rajab, 1074 (1664).
