ملاحظات Ms. codex.Title from colophon (fol. 316b).Physical description: 15 lines per page. Written in large naskh in black ink with use of red. Cream paper, glossy, with pulp and laid lines visible. Marginal annotations. According to the catchwords, some leaves are wanting (see between fol. 22 and 23). Water damaged, with loss of text.Inscriptions on spine: "Bāb al-ḥawḍ wa-al-shafāʻah min al-Ṣiḥāḥ" and "M Shahrī".Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥadīth thānī 55". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of upper cover: "459/2 Ḥāʼ".Origin: Copy completed in 834 H. (colophon, fol. 316b).Incipit: [---] ب الحوض والشفاعة من الصحاح [ق]ال رسول الله عليه السلام بيانا انا اسير فى الجنّة اذاExplicit: قال رسول الله عليه السلام مثلُ اُمّتى مثلُ المَطر لا يُدرَى اَوَّلُه خَيرٌ ام آخِرُهُ تمت كتاب المصابيح بعو فاتح غيب المفاتيح فى سنة اربع وثلثين وثمانماية الهجريه - Quarter bound in marbled paper and red leather. Gilt tooling on spine. - Second part of a collection of ḥadīth arranged by topic.
