ملاحظات Ms. codex.Title supplied by cataloger.Marginal notes in red and black in different hands. On title page are eight verses of poetry. After the colophon are several quotations from the Qurʼān and a few wisdom verses. On the page following are ten verses by Abū Nuwās and a masʼalah on inheritance. The author of this commentary was a disciple of the famous grammarian Ibn Khālawayh (317-370/929-989/1), from whom he learned the ode.Collation: Paper ; fol. 41 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 16-18 lines per page.Description: Text commented upon in bolder script ; some use of red ; MS in good condition.Origin: According to colophon copy completed 684 (fol. 41a).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. رب يسر. قال ربيعة تن محمد العمري [المعمري] قرات نسخة هذه المقصوره على الشيخ ابى عبد الله الحسين بن خالويه النحوي ...Colophon: نجزت المقصورة بحمد الله وتوفيقه عشية الخميس سلخ المحرم سنة اربع وثمانين وستمائة - Later type III (without flap) binding in plain paste boards with fabric-enforced spine. - The text of, and commentary on, the famous ode of Ibn Durayd as related by Rabīʻah ibn Muḥammad al-Maʻmarī.
