ملاحظات Ms. codex.Title from ownership statement on fol. 1a.Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh (professional hand) in black ink with use of red. Thick cream paper, glossy, hardly translucid, with laid lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins by several hands. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, some in Persian, including ownership statements. The last fol. consists of the original leaf pasted on a modern leaf (fol. 253).Inscription in red pencil, in Arabic script, on fol. 1a: "Raqm 240". Mention "252 Bl." on fol. 1a.Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed during Ramaḍān 729 [July 1329] by Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn [---] al-QazwīnīIncipit: سورة الانعام مكية وعن ابن عياس عيره ست آيات وهى ماءية وخمس وستون آية بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم جعل يتعدّى الى مفعول واحد اذا كان بمعنىExplicit: وليعلموا انما هو اله واحد لانهم اذا خافوا ما انذروا به دعتهم المخافة الى النظر ... الخير كله [253أ] عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من قراء سورة ابراهيم اعطى من الاجر عشر حسنات بعدد كل من عبد الاصنام وعدد من لم يعبد - Second volume of the kashshāf, comprising the text from Sūrat al-Inʻām (6:1) to the end of Sūrat Ibrāhīm (14:52, starts on fol. 226a).
