ملاحظات Ms. codex.Title from colophon (fol. 188b).Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in thick small round naskh in black ink with use of red. Wove paper. Annotations and short excerpts of texts on the margins and on small pieces of paper pasted between the original leaves of the copy. Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf on wove paper with an embossed stamp, with title on the recto. Table of contents on fol. 2b-5a. Short texts and inscriptions on fol. 189a-b.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Taṣawwuf thā". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1145/2 Ḥ".Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in 1259 H. (fol. 188b).Incipit: الحمد لله الواحد القهار العزيز الغفار مكوّر الليل على النهار تذكرة لاولى القلوب والابصار وتبصرة لذوى الالباب والاعتبار ... اما بعد فقد قال الله تعالى وما خلقت الجن والانس الا ليعبدون ما اريد منهم من رزق وما اريد ان يطعمون وهذا تصريح بانهم خلقوا للعبادةExplicit: الحمد لله الذى هدانا لهذا وما كنا لنهتدى لو لا ان هدانا الله اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد عبدك ورسولك النبى الامى وعلى ال محمد وازواجه وذريته كما صليت على ابراهيم وعلى ال ابراهيم وبارك على محمد وعلى ال محمد كما بارك على ابراهيم و على ال ابراهيم انك حميد مجيد ثم لله الحمد على الاتمام وعلى رسوله الصلاة والسلام آمين قال مؤلفه ابو زكريا يحيى النووى ... فرغت منه يوم الاثنين رابع عشرين من رمضان سنة سبع سبعين وستمائة والله تعالى اعلم بالصواب واليه المرجع والمآب - Dark green leather with a gold- and blind-tooled panel over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap.
