Two treatises on the construction and use of sundials by the Andalusian scholar Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf al-Mursī al-Andalusī al-Tūnisī al-Awsī ibn al-Raqqām (عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم بن علي بن أحمد بن يوسف المرسي الأندلسي التونسي الأوسي بن الرقام, d. 1315).Although the copy is undated, the use of the phrase 'may God prolong his life and brighten his sky with benefic stars (أدام الله حياته وأنار بنجوم السعد سمائه)' after the author's name (f. 1v, lines 5-6) indicates that it was copied before the death of the author in 715 AH/AD 1315.The title page (f. 1r) reads
