Transferred from King's College, University of London to SOAS University of London, Translated from the Arabic in 1183 AH (1769 CE) by Kiai Mas Fakhruddin a the request of Pangeran Ratu bin Paduka Seri Sultan Ahmad Najmudding of Palembang, perhaps in the holograph of the translator., According to Prof. G. W. J. Drewes, the original is Mukhtasar futuh ash sham by Abu Isma'il al Basri., On folio 1-recto a note 'from the Sultan of Palembang's palace, 28th April 1812', signed by W. P. W.
