Epistle of Alive Son of Awake
(رسالة حي بن يقظان) a philosophical allegory by his teacher Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh (أبو علي الحسين بن عبد الله), known as Ibn Sīnā (ابن سينا, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037). For the text commented upon, see previous item (ff. 13v-15v).
