the reading certificate of Zayn al-Dīn ibn ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad (زين الدين بن علي بن أحمد) dated 16 Jumādá I 960/30 April 1553, has been copied from the source manuscript (بخط جدي, f. 137v, fore edge margin).

الحمد لله حمد الشاكرين وصلواته على سيدنا محمد وآله الطيبين الطاهرين وبعد
فهذه رسالة في العمل بالربع المرسوم بالمقنطرات وصنعتها للمبتدى طريقًّا
