Inserts. This copy was made for Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī, the governor of Qajtūlah [Algeria]. Illegible title on lower edge of text block., Collation: Paper ; fol. 179 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 18 lines per page ; frame-ruled in gold, red and black., Description: Entries in gold, silver, red, green and indigo ; full vowel signs ; watermarks (sun or star with the roman-alphabet "H") ; MS in good condition., Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in gold, blue and red with marginal rosette (fol. 1b). Similar elaborate illuminated colophon in gold, red, blue and black (fol. 178a)., Origin: According to colophon copy completed 1152 by Yūsuf ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Sharīf al-Jazīrī (fol. 178a)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم صلى الله على سيدنا ومولانا محمد الذي ابرا شق خبيب بالمسح وامن خائقه يوم الفتح ..., Colophon: کمل کتاب تنبيه الانام في الصلاة على سيد الانام بحمد الله تعالى وحسن عونه على يد العبد الفقير يوسف ابن عبد الله الشريف الجزيري کان الله له بحرمة سيد المرسلين صلىّ الله عليه وعلى اله وسلم سنة 1152 | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather.
