In a statement before the colophon the author acknowledges his dependence on al-Maqrīzī., Collation: Paper ; fol. 186 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ; MS in fair condition., Layout: 21-24 lines per page., Ms. codex., Title supplied by cataloger., Colophon: وجلعته مختصرا مفيدا والله الموفق للصواب واليه المرجع والمآب والحمد لله وحده وصلى الله على من لا نبي بعده اي سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم تسليما کثيرا. ولا حولا [حول] ولا قوة الا بالله العلي العظيم, Incipit: وخمسمائة وسمع من ابي الفضل مکرم بن محمد | Quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and tan paper.
