A poetry anthology containing selections from al-Badr al-Sāfir arranged alphabetically by the authors. Followed by a poem by al-Ab al-Khūrī Nīqūlāwus, Muʻashsharāt al-Fāzānī al-Maghribī, poems by Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Ḥillī and two verses by ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-ʻAlawī. | Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 104 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (three crescents) ; MS in good condition, but several folios worm-eaten., Layout: 17-21 lines per page., Marginal notes and glosses. On the inside of the front cover the contents of the book are set forth. A poem in praise of Christ and the Apostles dated 1714., 3. fol. 67a-74b: Muʻashsharāt al-Fāzānī. Poems arranged according to the alphabetical order of their rhyme., 4. fol. 75a-97b: al-Qaṣāʼid al-farāyid al-maḥbūkāt al-Ṭarafayn / Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Ḥillī., 5. fol. 97b-104a: al-Badīʻīyah / Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Ḥillī., 6. fol. 104a: Badīʻīyah / ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-ʻAlawī. Two verses of the poem. | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and brown pebbled paper. Multi-colored endbands. | On the page before title page occur the title by a later hand, an obliterated name dated 1771 and the obscured autograph and seal impression of an owner, al-Muṭrān Aghābiyūs.
