Biographical notes on folio 1a., Collation: Paper ; fol. 45 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red., Description: Rubricated ; MS in good condition, some staining and repairs., Origin: According to colophon copy completed Thursday 8 Shawwāl 1124 by Muḥammad Maḥmūd (fol. 45a)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذي وجب وجود ذاته ... وبعد فيقول الملتجى الى حرمربه الباري على بن سلطان محمد القارى ... فسنح ببالي وخيالي ان اضع شرحاً, Colophon: وفرغ من تعليقه الفقير الى الله تعالى محمد محمود في يوم الخميس الثامن من شوال سنة اربعة وعشرين ومائة والف. م | Later type II (with flap) binding in light brown leather and orange paper with black and white pattern. | Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. | Hitti, P.
