A collection of discourses, wise sayings and proverbs on good government, divided into 8 divisions: (1) good policy, (2) virtue in knowledge and action, (3) elements which aid in religious devotion and worship, (4) aids to the discipline of the tongue, (5) self discipline, (6) good conduct, (7) good behavior, and (8) aids to eloquence. | Collation: Paper ; fol. 41 ; catchwords ; foliated in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue and red with double frame in blue and red. (fol. 1b), Description: Written in good naskhi ; full vowel signs ; rubricated ; verse separators in red ; watermarks (crown) ; MS in good condition., Layout: 13 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red., Marginal notes. On title page and on inside of front cover are numerous additions and autographs of owners.
