From the reference to opium and the use of certain words it may be concluded that the poem was written in Egypt., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: عفى [عفا] الله لکاتبها وقارئها ومؤلفها وسامعها ولکل المسلمين اجمعين, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه ثقتي. ففکرت في حال الزمان وما حصل * فيه من الاهوال کم شيء حصل | Covered in blue paper with printed paper pastedowns from an army log book. | Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. | Hitti, P.
