A commentary on Fatḥ al-wahhāb bi-sharḥ Manhaj al-ṭullāb. This in turn is a commentary by Abū Yaḥyá Zakarīyā al-Anṣārī on his own compendium of Shāfiʻite law and jurisprudence entitled Manhaj al-ṭullāb and which is also an abridgment of Manhāj al-ṭālibīn. | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Marginal notes and glosses. Diagrams on fol. 26b. The MS is incomplete at the end and probably it is the original copy of the author., Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 65 + i ; catchwords ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 22-26 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; text in red, original commentary overlined in red ; watermarks (three crescents; later endpaper: eagle? with roman-alphabet letters "GFA") ; MS in good condition., Origin: Probably from the XlXth century., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ربنا اتنا من لدنك رحمته ... الحمد لله الذي ايد نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ... وبعد فيقول العبد الضعيف العاجز الحقير ... فتح الله بن عمر بن محمد امين الامدى مولدا ..., Ending: ورأس الاذن هو الجزء القريب من الوتد وليس المراد به اعلى الاذن من جهة الرأس لانه ليس محاذيا لمبدأ العذار | Later half-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and grey and red marbled paper.
