In his introduction to Naẓm al-ʻiqyān of al-Suyūṭī, Hitti discusses this idea of a mabʻūth and refers to a treatise of a similar nature by al-Suyūṭī., Collation: Paper ; fol. ii (first is later paper) + 15 + i (later paper) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (anchor) ; MS in good condition., Origin: Probably from the XVIIIth century., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ربنا ... الحمد لله الذي خص هذه الامة الشريفة بخصايض واصحة للمهتدين ... وبعد فاخرج ابو داود في سننه والحسن بن سفيان في مسنده ..., Colophon: وان عمرانما استند في وضع التاريخ عليه وقد بسطته في مؤلفي في التاريخ والله تعالى اعلم وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد واله وصحبه وسلم | Later type III (without flap) in red leather and green embossed paper. | Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. | Hitti, P.
