A collection of 102 original discourses on religious, moral and social topics, an imitation of the Aṭwāq al-dhahab of al-Zamakhsharī. | Collation: Paper ; fol. 47 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Rubricated ; MS in good condition., Layout: 16 lines per page ; ruled., Marginal notes and glosses. The name of the copyist is obliterated. In the introduction the author states that he composed this book at the request of Aḥmad ibn Maḥmūd ibn ʻAlī al-Juwaynī, and that in composing his book he imitated al-Zamakhshariʼs Aṭwāq al-dhahab. On the inside of the front cover are a charm for detecting foot-prints and the shahādah., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied Monday 6 Rajab 1039 (fol. 47a)., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: تمت نهار الاثنين في ستة خلة [خلت] من شهر رجب سنة 1039 ... ولمن قرأ له سورة الفاتحة وللمسلمين اجمعين امين, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وهو حسبي. اللهم انّا نحمدك على ما اسبلت من جلابيب کرمك | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and white paper.
