On the six folios after the colophon is a gloss on al-Wāfiyah fī sharḥ al-Kāfiyah, the commentary of Rukn al-Dīn al-Astarābādī on al-Kāfiyah, a work on syntax by Ibn al-Ḥājib., Collation: Paper ; fol. 148 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 23 lines per page., Description: Overlining in red ; watermarks (crown-star-crescent) ; MS in good condition. Folio 141 loose., Origin: [Ṭalibat al-ṭalabah] According to colophon copy completed by Ḥamad ibn Ḥusayn (fol. 141a). Probably from XVIIIth century., Incipit: [طلب الطلبة] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه نستعين ... الحمد لله الذي رفع العلم واهله ووضع الراضي بالجهل ... سالني جماعة من اهل العلم شرح ما يشكل علي الاحداث الذين قل اختلاط في اقتباس الادب ... -- [حاشية] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وصلي الله علي سيدنا محمد واله الصحبه اجمعين الحمد لله الملهم بالحق والمعلم بالصدق والصلاة علي رسوله ... وبعد فانه اردت ان اجمع بالخفظ عما شرح السميت المنسوبة الي القطعية من الارادات والاجوبة, Colophon: [طلب الطلبة] تم الکتاب بعون الملك الوهاب على يد العبد الضعيف الراجي رحمة ربه اللطيف حمد بن الفقير حسين غفر الله له ولوالديه ولمشايخه والمسلمين اجمعين آمين تم. وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد واله واجمعين والحمد لله رب العالمين تم تم تم تم تم -- [حاشية] تم الاوراق بعون الله الملك الخلاف | Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and blue-green marbled paper.
