Label on upper cover "12 MR". Inscriptions on pastedowns, preliminary folios, and folios following the colophon including animal (bird?) doodles and a secret alphabet., Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 161 + ii ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 16 lines per page., Origin: According to colophon copy completed 25 Rabīʻ al-Ākhir 1241 by Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn al-Ḥusaynī walad Ḥājjī Āqā al-Ḥusaynī al-Māzandarānī (fol. 161b)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه نستعين ان ابهى درر تنظم بنبان البيان وازهر زهر ... وبعد فقد طال الحاج الملحين المشتغلين على المتردد الى ان اشرح لهم الرسالة الشمسية وابين فيه القواعد المنطقية ..., Colophon: قد فرغ تسويد هذا الكتاب مسمى بشمسية في يوم خمس وعشرين شهر ربيع الاخر من سنه احدى واربعون ومائتان بعد الف من هجرة النبوية اقل الخليقه بل لا شئى فى الخقيقه زين العابدين الحسينى ولد حاجى آقا الحسينى المازندرانى اللهم اغفر لها بحق خمسه النجنأ, Description: Rubricated ; text commented upon overlined in red ; watermarks (coat-of-arms with an arrow; column topped with a crown and Greek-alphabet letters "ΤΦ ϹΥ" ; "1823") ; MS in good condition. | Later? type III (without flap) binding in dark brown leather.
