Fāʼidah on title page of second volume (v. 2, fol. 1a)., Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 265 (vol. 1), i + (1) + 320 (vol. 2), i + (3) + 308 + i (vol. 3) ; quires of volume 2 signed: 1-32 ; catchwords ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 25-29 lines per page., Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; watermarks (v. 1 and 3: grapes with crown and roman-alphabet lettering; v. 2: fol. 1-140 three crescents and fol. 141-320 grapes with roman-alphabet lettering "A GALLIARDON[?]") ; MS in good condition except for folios 141-32 of the second volume which are fragile with mends and some missing text., Origin: [Vol. 1] According to colophon copy completed by Abū Bakr ibn Ibrāhīm al-Mīqāti (v. 1, fol. 265b) -- [Vol. 2] Copy completed Wednesday 5 Shawwāl 1146 by by Muṣṭafá ibn Sulaymān (v. 2, fol. 320b) -- [Vol. 3] Copy completed 18 Rajab 1152 by Abū Bakr ibn Ibrāhīm (v. 3, fol. 308a)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم رب يسر يا كريم بمنك ولطفك الحمد لله الذي جعل ذكره رياض الصالحين ... هذا ما دعت اليه الحاجة من وضع تعليق لطيف علي نهج منيف على كتاب رياض الصالحين ..., Colophon: تشرف به وبنقله اسير ذنوبه العبد الفقير الفاني راجي عفو ربه الکريم ابو بکر بن ابراهيم غفر الله له ولوالديه ولجميع المسلمين امين. وکان الفراغ من کتابة هذه النسخة الشريفة صبيحة الثلاث ثمان عشر رجب الفرد الحرام من شهور سنة 1152 ثنتين وخمسين ومائة والف من الهجرة النبوية على صاحبها افضل الصلاة واتم التحية صلى الله عليه وعلى اله وصحبه البررة الزکية | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown or red leather and green embossed paper.
