"Risālah fī maʻrifat al-mulūk wa-al-salāṭīn", a work on determining the age of kings and governors and the period of their rule by Muḥammad ibn ʻAlāʼ al-Dīn al-Miṣrī, known as al-Ṭilāʼi which was copied in 1191 (fol. 155b-158a)., Collation: Paper ; fol. iv + 158 ; catchwords ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 21-22 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; pages from original manuscript trimmed and inserted into new paper frame ; MS in good condition; mended., Origin: Probably from the XVIIth century., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه ثقتي الحمد لله الاول بلا ابتداء الاخر بلا انتهاء ... وبعد فهذا مجموع لطيف يحتدي على كل معني ظريف من الاحاديث النبوية والدر العلوية نقل من كتب المنتشرة من الاحاديث المشتهرة من احكام الشرعية ..., Colophon: لعنة الله والمراد بها الغائط؟ | Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. No decoration on flap. Yellow paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands.
