It is stated in the preface that the author composed the work for his son, Abū Zarʻah, 826/1423., Collation: Paper ; fol. 100 + ii ; catchwords ; foliatiion in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 17 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red ; opening pages frame-ruled in gold (fol. 1b & 2a)., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (grapes with cartouche "I[heart]V" topped with a crest or a crown) ; MS in good condition., Origin: Probably from the XVIIth century., Colophon: وقد انتهى الغرض بنا فيما جمعناه على هذا المنوال المنيع والمثال البديع ادام الله به النفع للخاص والعام على ممرالشهوروالاعوام والحمد لله عودًا على بدء والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمد في کل حرکة وهدء انه بالاجابة کفيل وهو حسبنا ونعم الوکيل ولا حول ولا قوة الا بالله العلي العظيم. سبحان ربك رب العزة عما يصفون وسلام على المرسلين والحمد لله رب العالمين تم, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذي انزل الاحكام ... وبعد فقد اردت ان اجمع لابني ابي زرعة مختصرا في احاديث الاحكام ... | Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather and blue and brown marbled paper.
