Composed in Ramaḍān 897/1492. Matn overlined in red, rubricated, catchwords, marginal glosses and corrections. Laid European paper (watermarks: 1. three crescents; Ghiglotti, 2. anchor, C; Ghigliotti; F G in decorative surround, 3. Nicolo Bruzzo in separate decorative surrounds). 14 lines per page, nasta'alīq influenced Persian hand. Manuscript. Jāmī's commentary on ʻUthmān ibn ʻUmar Ibn al-Ḥājib's grammar book, Kitāb al-Kāfīyah. The work was written for his son Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn and was completed on Saturday, the 11th of Ramaḍān 897 (1492).
