Text collated (buligha muqābalatan). Some folios supplied in Jumada I 1252/1836 (laid European paper, Watermark: 1. stag courant; Polleri; 2. Fortune, Thomas C.) Copied by Mūsā ibn Yūsuf Naṣr Allāh al-Māzandarānī (f.116a, 233b). Catch words, marginal glosses. Elegant Persian hand, three illuminated headpiece, rule-borders. 21 lines per page, laid oriental paper, rubricated. Copy date and copyist's name from the colophon. Manuscript Seal (f.1a): Muḥammad Mahdī ibn Muḥammad bāqir al-Mūsawī.. It is a ḥadīth collection, by the famous Twelver Shī'a scolar Abū Ja'far Muḥammad ibn 'Alī ibn Bābawaih al-Qummī, commonly known as Ibn Bābawayh or Al-Shaykh al-Ṣadūq. This work is included among The Four Books of Twelver Shī'a Islam.
