Purchased in Cairo, 1924. On p. [4], owners' marks: qad tamallakahu al-faqīr al-ḥaqīr Ṣanʻ Allāh Afandī; qad tamallakahu al-faqīr al-ḥaqīr Ḥasan Manṣūr Zādah sābiqan āmin al-fatwá Aḥmad Afandī; qad tamallakahu al-faqīr al-ḥaqīr shaykh al-Islām Mīrzā Muṣṭafá Afandī. Later part of the personal manuscript collection of Sultan Abdülhamid II of Turkey.. This is the author'smostfamous and popular work.
