Written in Sinai by the monk Thomas.These folios have been demonstrated to have originally formed part of a manuscript made at St. Catherine's monastery, together with M. Add. 130, M. Add. 149, M. Add. 148 and folios at Bryn Mawr College and the UNiversity of Leiden.The Discourse of St. Epiphanius of Cypris in praise of the Virgin is headed by a zigzag pattern in black and orange-red with the first three lines of text in orange-red. |
