Treatise on abrogated verses, in the recension of Abū ʻAbd Allāh ʻAbd al-Khāliq Ibn Hibat Allāh ibn Salāmah ibn Naṣr ibn ʻAlī, the son of the author. The text ends on fol. 43b and is followed on fol. 44a-45a by an appendix written by the same hand, mentioning other remarks on abrogated verses, the sources used, and the date of the riwāyah (Muḥarram 472 [July 1079]). | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 3a)., Physical description: 18 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink (faded to brown), with use of red for headings and entries. The last letters of the last word of some lines are written on the margin (see fol. 11a). Thick cream paper, hardly translucid, with laid lines visible. Inscriptions and short texts, including prayers, on fol. 1a-2a. Several inscriptions, including talismans on fol. 45b-47b. Pages trimmed., Inscription in Arabic script in magenta ink on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Raqm 230"., Origin: Copied by ...(?) al-Sayfī on Monday 28 Ramaḍān 674 [March 16, 1276] (colophon, fol. 43b)., Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين ولا عدوان الاعلى الظالمين وصلواته على حيرته من خلقه محمد سيّد المرسلين وعلى اله اجمعين اخبرنا ابو عبد الله عبد الخالق ابن هبة الله بن سلامة بن نصر بن علي المفسّر قال قال ابو القاسم بن هبة الله بن سلامه الحمد لله الذي هدانا لدينه وجعلنا من اهله وفضلنا بما علمناه من تنزيله, Explicit: سورة الناس نزلت بالمدينة وقيل بمكة والله اعلم وجميعها محكم ليس فيها ناسخ ولا منسوخ تم الكتاب ولله الحمد والمنّه, Incipit fol. 44a: قال الشيخ ابو القسم رضى الله عنه كلما فى القران من اية من قوله تعالى من اعرض عنهم ونزل عنهم ودريهم وما اشبه ذلك من معناه فناسخه اية السيف ... قال الشيخ رحمه الله وهذه الجملة استخرجتها من كتب المحدثين وتفسير المفسرين وعلمايهم من كتاب ابى صالح بما رواه عنه الكلبى, Explicit fol. 44b: سمع عليه بروايته عن ابيه المصنف رحمه الله للقاضى الجليل ابو الفضل جعفر بن يحيى ابن ابرهيم بن الحكال المكى والشيخ ابو البركات هبة الله يقراه عليه فى محرم [45أ] سنه اثنين وسبعين واربعمايه تم ذلك والحمد لله على نعمايه ومننه وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه وسلم تسليما كثيرا | Paper over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers.
