Sixth volume of Ibn Taghrībirdī's historical treatise, contanining the annals of Egypt from 801 to 836 H. [1398-1433]. The text starts with the reign of al-Malik al-Nāṣir Faraj and closes during the reign of al-Malik al-Ashraf Barsbāy. After the colophon (fol. 243b), the text continues for half a page on fol. 244a, with a table of contents of the next part, entitled: "Dhikr mā ishtamala ʻalayhi hādhā al-juzʼ min mulūk Miṣr". | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 2a)., Collation: Paper ; fol. 244 + i ; 1-23¹⁰ 24¹⁰ (+4?, fol. 241-244) ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals, in the form "al-thānī min al-sādis" (see fol. 11a) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 25 lines per page ; ruled., Description: Written in medium small script in black ink with use of red for entries and punctuation. Headings in larger script in dark red ink.
