Cilt	Black leather binding with a flap mounted on cardboard. Stamped central medallions; gold ornaments on the inside of the flap hinge. Endpapers of yellow sprinkled with gold. The codex is wrapped in green cloth. The bindings of OR. 1948 and OR. 2710 (no. 57 in this catalogue) are similarly made

Tezhip	1v-2r have double gold ruling. Elaborate ‘unwān, fol. l v: floral motifs in gold and polychrome. Excellent copy: OR. 1948 and OR. 351 (no. 61 in this catalogue) have some features in common as regards their ornamentation.
