النجوم الزاهرة فى ملوك مصر و القاهرة Numérisation effectuée à partir d'un document de substitution. Second volume, commençant par l'an 254 de l'hégire, et finissant par l'an 524. Cet exemplaire a été écrit pour la bibliothèque d'un fonctionnaire égyptien, nommé Faradj, qui avait été grand chambellan du sultan mamlouc Al-Malik al-Aschraf Inâl, dont le père, Ized Beg (بردبك), avait été émir de mille, c'est-à dire colonel d'un des vingt-quatre régiments de cavalerie qui composaient la ḥalqa ou garde impériale. Ms. daté de l'an 885 de l'hégire (1481 de J. C.). Scanning from a substitute document. Second volume, beginning with the year 254 of the Hégire, and ending with the year 524. This copy was written for the library of an Egyptian official, named Faradj, who had been great shabellan of the mamlouc sultan Al-Malik al-Aschraf Inâl, whose father, Ized Beg (بردبCet), had been emir of a thousand, that is to say colonel of one of the twenty-four cavalry regiments who composed the Cet alqa or imperial guard.
