Fragment from a slit tapestry-woven panel of purple wool and undyed linen thread. The design is incomplete but seems to be a hare, on a false hatched background. A purple border forms a roundel enclosing the animal. Details are picked out in flying thread brocading. Tapestry woven panel: Linen warp (S-spun, 33/cm) Wool weft (Z-spun, 40/cm) Linen weft 11 ribs per cm
