Woven silk with vertical and horizontal point repeat with 4 minimum pattern areas. Satin foundation structure 4/1 satin; warp: silk, ivory, untwisted. Weft: cotton; description Z-twisted. Satin & velvet warp order 3-1-2. Velvet structure: silk: red and green. Pile counts, warps 12; along weft 10. Binding weft threads: silk, super skinny. Brocade structure: wholly brocaded, 4/1 twill, count 34. Shots between pile 2. Metal & twist: gilt (?), S, tightness of wrap: tightly. Selvedges: dimensions 0.5 cm. At outer edges, bands of warp visible. Staggered small medallions with peacock feathers and carnations in the round outlined in blue on the red background. Silk (Textile) Cotton Weaving
