ملاحظات
Bracelets like this were made throughout the Middle East, from Egypt to Turkey, in the 19th century, and are still being made today. They were very popular with western tourists, who bought them in the region, or from shops such as Liberty in London. Although the design and workmanship are typical of Arab jewellery of the time, they were not primarily made for local use. Traditional bracelets in the region are much sturdier and heavier, usually consisting of a stiff penannular band.
