نص عينة الغیب و الشهاده Translation ... the unseen and the visible... Note The main inscription is from surah 62, verse 8. The smaller inscription above this is from the surah al-Rahman (55, verses 26 to 31), and that below is from the surah al-Saba (34, verses 5 to 7).

Fiziksel açıklama Tile, rectangular in shape, with a fritware body under a glaze that appears white; part of a frieze with a moulded inscription in Arabic ( al-ghayb wa 'l-shahadah ) and projecting bands above and below, which carry further inscriptions in Arabic; blue and turquoise pigments were painted into the glaze before firing, and lustre was painted over the glaze after the initial firing; the main, moulded inscription is in a large thuluth hand and is painted in blue with outlines in lustre and white; it is set against a lustre ground; two patterns of scrollwork, one running over the other, are reserved in the lustre; the first, much larger pattern is painted in turquoise, with details in lustre, and consists of scrolling stems set with split palmettes; the smaller, much denser pattern is of scrollwork elements in white; the projecting bands above and below are white, framed in white outlined in lustre (inner sides) and in lustre (outer sides); the inscriptions on the two bands were executed in lustre, in a sub-calligraphic naskh hand; the styles of script ( thuluth and naskh ) are characteristic of the Kashan potters.
