Mosaic of marble, porphyry, and other stones, red pottery, and mother-of-pearl; in three panels, in marble, with geometric border of mother-of-pearl filled in with red pottery and yellow marble; the sides of streaked red marble within borders; the whole enclosed within a border of green stone. From Cairo. Saracenic. Probably 14th centy. Sight measure, H. 4 ft. 7 in., W. 3ft. 5 in. Bought (St. Maurice Collâ¿), 185l.
