resist dyed, block printed, plain weave cotton, machine woven glazed on one side. A repeating pattern of two diagonal stripes, from top left and lower right: [a] cream ground carrying isolated simple, green leafy sprays with three purple flowers. [b] a red stripe edged in yellow and white, carrying a small floral motif in blue and white. Some misprinting.
