Lines are ruled. There is poetic spacing in the centre of each line of text which gives the effect on the page of two columns. On f. 2 there are jottings in the margins written in a different hand with a different ink from that of the text. They include part of an alphabet on f. 2r and the Judaeo-Arabic פטם אללה אלרחמו אלרחים on f. 2v.
