Notlar	ABSTRACT IN TURKISH: Çalismada 2007-2008 yillari arasindaki dönemde Istatistiki Bölge Birimleri Siniflamasina (IBBS) ya da Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) kriterlerine göre, Türkiye'dekiDüzey 2 bölgelerinin ekonomik etkinlikleri incelenmistir. Bölgelerin ekonomik etkinliklerini bulmak için parametrik olmayan bir ölçüm metodu olan Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA)kullanilmistir. Analizde her bir bölge için girdi olarak; kisi basi kamu yatirim gerçeklesmeleri, tesvik belgeli yatirimlar, toplam banka kredileri, çikti olarak; Gayri Safi Katma Deger (GSKD), tesvik belgeleri ile yaratilan istihdam, açilan isyeri sayisi ve dis ticaret dengesi alinmistir. Ikinci asamada 'girdi-çikti degiskenlerinin' ekonomik etkinlik üzerindeki etkisinin incelemek için Tobit model kullanilmistir. Çalisma bulgulari ayrintili bir sekilde anlatilmistir. // ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: In this study, it is examined that the economics of the efficient of level 2 regions according to criterion of Statistical Regional Units Classification or Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) in Turkey the period between 2007-2008. A measurement method to find the parameters of economic activities in the provinces with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used. In the analysis for each regions is taken per capita public investment, incentive certificates investment, total bank loans as an input and the gross value added, employed, a number of opened business and foreign trade balance as output. To deliver reasonable results a Tobit model is considered in a second stage to examine the degree to which 'input-output variables' impact on the economics of the efficient of level 2 regions. The present findings are described in detail.
