(vertical), chain lines spaced 22 mm. (vertical), smooth, well-burnished with watermark scroll or shield with lion rampant and "D V [?]" countermark ; first quire in a different European laid paper (watermark scrollwork difficult to examine) and flyleaves in still different European laid paper with three hats watermark., Binding: Pasteboards (semi-limp) covered in marbled paper (blue, green and yellow) with spine in red leather ; Type III binding (without flap) ; board linings in yellow surface tinted laid paper ; flyleaves in peach-tinted laid paper ; sewn in dark pink thread, two stations, primaries in yellow and dark pink ; endbands in light-blue and pink ; in fair condition with some staining, abrasion, lifting of spine leather, etc., Former shelfmark: British Museum, London "No. 82.
