Notlar Ms. codex., Title from inscription on interior of upper cover., Collation: Chiefly quinions ; now so tightly bound, virtually impossible to discern original gatherings without damaging or disbinding ; leaf carrying incipit page missing ; catchwords present ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization., Layout: Written in 17 lines per page ; frame-ruled., Script: Naskh-nastaʻlīq (talik) ; elegant Eastern Turkish [?] hand ; virtually serifless and quite rounded with curvilinear descenders (many sweeping), slight effect of words descending to baseline (occasionally more exaggerated), pointing in strokes rather than distinct dots, freely ligatured, kāf mashqūqah preferred (even final kāf) with shaqq sweeping upward., Decoration: Keywords and abbreviation symbols rubricated ; textual dividers in the form of inverted commas in red ; text being commented upon (matn al-Shāfiyah) overlined in red., Support: European laid paper with 11 laid lines per cm. Ms. 500, 615, 623) ; marginal corrections.
