(vertical), chain lines spaced 26-32 mm. apart (horizontal), three crescents / tre lune watermark (86 mm. long, perpendicular to chains, see pp.12, 30, 32, 86, etc.) and countermark "A 3" / "A Z" under trefoil (see pp.90, 93, etc.), sturdy, cream in color, well-burnished., Binding: Pasteboards covered in block-printed paper (mauve / dark pink with repeating three-lobed motifs and dots in black, triangles constituting interstices between repeating circular fields in mint green) with tan leather over spine ; Type III binding (without flap) ; board linings in dark blue / indigo laid paper ; ill-fitting and unattached to text block, essentially recycled cover serving as wrapper ; text block once sewn in cream thread, now failed with threads remaining only inside some gatherings ; traces of endband primaries in blue and cream ; overall in somewhat poor condition with wrapper ill-fitting, abrasion, staining, lifting and losses of leather and paper, minor pest damage, etc. ; housed in carboard portfolio for protection., Former shelfmark: Mich.
