Notlar In the act of mystical ontology, the seeker's goal is to connect to the truth and knowledge about things, phenomena and situations that the intellect and heart are unable to understand. To achieve this goal, one should bring purity to the heart, light to the eyes and familiarity to the ears, with the help of austerity and honesty. In this state, his heart is bright with a light that the deprived have never found, and his eyes are open to sights that others have never seen, and his ears are familiar with mysteries that strangers have not heard. The mystics refer to the result of this purity, illumination and familiarity as secret or mystry, and they consider a perfect and complete mystic to be someone who tries to hide secrets. Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Balkhi has raised secrets and secrecy and related issues in his Masnavi and Divan-I Kebir and talked about the position of secrets, secrecy and silence, the confidant and the stranger, obstacles to secrecy, agents of revealing secrets and messengers of secrets, etc. This article deals with the analysis of secrets and secrecy in Rumi’s mysticism.
