For this reason, it is possible to see law in cinema, which is called the "seventh art". In this study, Italian director Pontecorvo's film The Battle of Algiers is analyzed. The main claim of the study is that the director and the film bear the consciousness of political cinema while drawing attention to violence and the oppressor-oppressed relationship by revealing colonial codes.
